I found out I was pregnant on January 2, 2018. We were SO excited. Thinking of names, picking out a bigger house. On January 15, 2018 an obgyn I had never met before confirmed my worst fears; I’d had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. We were devastated. I wanted to talk about it, he didn’t want to think about it. We eventually began to heal, though hadn’t actively started trying again yet. We took a long weekend trip to the Smokies at the end of April and rented a romantic cabin. Yesterday I came home from work and slept for 12 hours straight. I had a dream that I was pregnant and woke up still tired. My boobs felt huge and slightly tender all day, which usually isn’t a pms symptom for me. AF isn’t due until Sunday (Mother’s Day, of course) so I didn’t plan on testing but I had to stop at Walmart anyways and decided to pick some up. I got home and sure enough.
