Lumpy Lip Filler HELP
I got lip injections a year and a half ago and was left with lumpy lips. As long as I didn’t smile, they weren’t too bad; but when I did, you could see visible blue lumps under the skin. Wearing lipstick disguised the blue but you could still see the lumps.
The doctor injected the filler WAY too close to the surface. I have naturally big lips and we only used 1ml so there wasn’t exactly a lack of tissue or too much filler with not enough room to place it... I already liked my lips and literally just wanted a tiny bit more fullness in certain parts kmt, but I digress. (I’m still pissed as you can see)
I decided to let my body do it’s own thing and dissolve the filler naturally instead of putting more shit in my body, seeing as it was only meant to last 6 months. It’s been a whole year and a half and I still have 3 lumps on my lip that don’t seem to be going anywhere and I’m sick of seeing them. I’ve tried massaging them and that hasn’t done shit. One of the lumps is a little tender too...
I’m pregnant so I can’t get them dissolved with hyaluronidase... I’m also planning to breastfeed and doctors advise against it while breastfeeding too.
I just wanted to find out if anyone knows how to speed up the process of my body dissolving the lip filler (hyaluronic acid) naturally, or if waiting until I can safely use hyaluronidase is my only option...
