I’m 12 about to turn 13 in July and I am dating this guy. He is my age and I haven’t told my friends. I know he likes to take things fast and even said he wanted to hang out when we haven’t even been dating a week. I never had sex and don’t want to get pregnant. What do I do.

Stoppppp right there. Your basically a baby yourself when I was 12 I was still watching my little pony. Don’t do that, your too young and it shouldn’t be with somebody who you don’t really know or trust. It’s a big deal and you have to be responsible for that, you need protection and you need to be careful. Don’t grow up that fast!

1.) Sex can not only be harmful to your body at such a young age but to your mental health as well. So take that into consideration when you’re making this decision. 
2.) Make it very clear to him how you feel regarding sex. And if you are not sure if you want to have sex then don’t. Don’t let him force himself on you OR try to convince you that you should or have to in order to make him happy. If he can’t respect your boundaries back off before you get attqched because that is an unhealthy relationship just waiting to happen. 
3.) Be safe. If you do decide to have sex know that the pull out method is NOT always successful or safe. You can get condoms at most any Walmart, however do not take them to the assisted check out because you will be asked your age and possibly denied them. Use self checkout.
4.) I know that talking to your parents about these kinds of things can be hard and that’s probably why you reached out to the internet for help which I totally understand but you need to understand your family loves you and I am sure your parents would feel SO much more comfortable for you to talk to them about it so that they know you are safe than for you to go behind their back where they can’t at least make sure you’re going about things in the healthiest way possible.

Also your too young to be having sex the best way not to get pregnant it to just not do the act. However as always it is YOUR choice don’t feel pressured by your boyfriend use condoms
