This weekend I told my bf that we shouldn’t hang out at all until he gets caught up on his school work (last week to turn in work). He’s really behind in some classes so I thought this would be a good, helpful idea. However, he’s been working all day, which I understood, but just now chose to use his free time to spend with his friends. This kind of hurts because I told him until he gets somewhat caught up, we can’t hang out and it made me feel as though he doesn’t care if he saw me or not. Not only this, but today I went out and bought mother’s day gifts for him for his mom because he didn’t have time to this week due to work. He was supposed to come pick them up but now that he’s out with friends Im not so sure. Am I being too sensitive about this situation or am I in the right to be upset?
