mother's day tradition

I may be overreacting because I'm pregnant and my hormones are all over the place but I'm truelly hurt.. my mother-in-law retired this March so when my sister-in-law was visiting i asked if we could carry on the tradition they had started when we were all overseas and they bought her flowers for mother's day. i asked her a few times seeing that mom-in-law is here with us now can my husband and i carry on with the tradition? she basically ignored me every time i asked so this morning they sent my husband's aunt to deliver flowers, a bear and cake to my mom-in-law... i now feel even more left out than i did before because i asked and was ignored every time and then just left out of things again....
