What are your plans for 2nd birthday?

For her first birthday we had an elaborate party with a real life unicorn and Cinderella 😂😍. Im due with baby number two in one month so I’ll have a 4 week old most likely at the time of her 2nd birthday. I’m torn if we should have a party or just do a birthday dinner cut the cake with family. Any other good ideas?

I’m due with baby #2 about 2 weeks before my sons 2nd birthday. We’ll be keeping it super casual with close family but we also talked about taking our guy to the aquarium and just making it a fun day for him.

I’ll be 37 weeks when my son turns 2, and plan on keeping it super casual. Inviting his cousins to spend the day on the beach then heading to small local amusement park. I would do it this way even if I wasn’t pregnant. I figured I would do a big first birthday, then make following birthdays more of an experience rather than a huge celebration that is stressful and expensive.

People always look at me crazy for this but.. my son didn’t have a first birthday party and we probably won’t do a second one either. His birthday is 4th of July so we just take him to our 4th of July plans with family/whoever. At that time of year it is so hard to get our families together. My in laws all go to the beach that week and everyone else lives an hour/more away.

on the daughters 2nd birthday i will have a 2 year old and 9 month old lol...we had a big minnie party with minnie and mickey for first birthday and i was 5 months pregnant...this birthday we are doing a taco "twos"day party with taco bar....my daughter loves taco lol

We're having a family BBQ. 😊 I was pregnant with #2 at his first and it was rough. I also have # 2's first birthday in Oct so we don't need all those new toys 😂 I totally just want something low key and fun this time around.

We didn’t get crazy for his first birthday and will do the same thing this year. We had a cook out and pool party since we have a pool. This year, we will be moving it in doors though because I will be 8 months pregnant and won’t be able to stand the mid July heat!! We will just have immediate family, which consists of my parents and brothers and their families, and my father in law and sister in law and her husband. I have 8 nieces and nephews so it still ends up being a crowd.

We’re have a “pool” party for him. 2 kiddie pools in our yard and burgers and cupcakes with his best friend and a couple cousins. Nothing too huge but enough for him to have some fun on his birthday. I’ll have a 6 week old by then. And I’ll just wear her.
