could i get pregnant?

I take my birth control every night around 9pm. I took it later Thursday night at around 1030 because I had gotten home late. that same night around 4-5am I got sick with food poisoning and had diarrhea around 5 times at most and threw up once. was my pill still effective since it was more that 2 hours after taking the pill? (also took the pill at 9pm Friday night and tonight with no diarrhea or vomiting)
