what can I do to have my doctor believe me

so I been having pain with intercourse and I went to the doctor and she said that I need to do (pt) physical therapy yes for my vagina.
I don't feel right doing that and I still have pain. during intercourse and during the pap smear.

I've done pelvic floor physical therapy for pain with intercourse, it was so bad that I couldn't even put a tampon in. I wasn't able to have sex for almost 5 years. I did a few months of PT and I've been able to have sex and wear tampons without issue for the last 3 years. I have endo. I highly recommend it.

I have endometriosis and it was also suggested that i do physical therapy. I had my endometriosis removed and then started physical therapy a few weeks later and it honeslty helped so much with the pain during sex/pap smears. I personally found it 100% worth it. But if your doctor isn't listening to you then you should find a new doctor.

Keep pushing for that referral to see a specialist! I have private insurance and still had to keep asking for awhile. Keep on them!

I did some physical therapy  for pain during intercourse as well & it worked wonders! You only need a few sessions & she basically just taught me how to do the excersises myself. I bought these things called dialators on Amazon & I use them to stretch down there & it's like magic!!

I been trying to figure out a new doctor but I'm on state health insurance so it's hard to find a doctor and they doctor did a check ultrasound and said that she didn't see any endometriosis
