When should a baby flip and stay flipped?

I still notice downwards kicks that I never noticed with my first. I know the baby has time to flip, I am just wondering when doctors gets concern. I’m 27 weeks!
I can tell that he hasn’t attempted to flip, he really likes being breeched  lol.

They like to see them head down by 36 weeks at my OB. But if they are not you can have an ECV done, spinning babies, and just know that there have been babies to flip from breech DURING labor so don’t let anyone pressure you. I made that mistake with my first and now if I have a breech baby i have to have a repeat c-section. Thank goodness this little girl is head and engaged. 👌🏻😊

My neighbor just told me the other day her son was breech until she went into labor and was driving to the hospital. He flipped on the way.

My baby was head down the entire time, but my midwife told me they can flip up until delivery. That it is more of an issue in delivery making it longer so flipping the baby by 37 weeks is recommended to allow for it to be more gentle on you.

Drs like them flipped by 34 ish weeks 36 weeks is when they start to think and might plan on maybe doing a csection. But some babies don’t flip until literally right before labor happens. They will do an ultrasound at the hospital if you go into labor and the baby has been breech to double check on how to proceed and there is a chance they flipped right then. And you have plenty of time for that baby to flip, but if it makes you feel better there are tutorials online on how to encourage them to turn head down.

My midwife told me the baby could flip several times til it’s time to give birth. But it’s after week 36 they should be the right way.
