Upcoming myomectomy

I have a surgery coming up on May 30. This week, I will be ovulating so I’m not sure if it’s safe to try to conceive this month or if we should use protection. My period is due about two or three days after the surgery so I’m concerned about possibly getting pregnant Right before the surgery. Of course, I’m having the surgery because I haven’t been out to get pregnant in her year so the odds of me actually getting pregnant are pretty slim. However, I just want to be safe. I put a call into to my

doctor yesterday but haven’t heard back yet.
