Old wives tale

I stare at belly everyday. Always wondering what the gender of the baby is. (We're not finding out till birth) it's moves everyday up and down. I look at the old wise tales and they say high for a girl and low for a boy. My husband and I really want a little boy. We've been praying for a little boy since our first pregnancy. And I know I would be devastated if we have another girl. I know I shouldn't care but there's not a lot of males in my family, my sister had a son and he passed away a year ago so having a little boy would be the icing on the cake. I just keep help but feel discourage if this baby is another girl. I know all pregnancy are different. I'm trying to not my pregnancy hormones get away from a happy pregnancy. Do you believe in old wives tales about gender prediction?
