Lose the Weight or Call it quits!
I’ve always had a fitness goal in mind like most of us do. I did managed to lose 15lbs just before my wedding day but later on gain it all back during the holidays, and since has been a little of a struggle to lose the weight. But now my husband (married for 8mos) tells me that now he has to get into the idea that I may never really reach those goals. (Fitness goal to drop 30lbs, which will put me at 130lbs) It turns out that he always had this idea in mind that I was working towards dropping the weight and married me with that idea. And now that we are married he tells me that he has to get used to the idea and not sure if he can deal with that! What is that supposed to mean? Just want to clarify that I’m still the same weight I was throughout our relationship, yet I feel like talks as if I gained 30+lbs (in which I can understand his concern) but I haven’t. So I told him that he has a decision to make because I’m done having this kind of conversation and him telling me I’m overweight and have to constantly monitoring what I eat. What you think about all this? Do you think it’s a legitimate reason to get a divorce? I just can’t be with someone so shallow! He says that’s him holding me accountable to my fitness goals, but what you think?
