Mucus plug question

For ppl who have lost their mucus plug, did it just come out in a large clump, or did anyone get a ton of slimy discharge before hand that definitely wasn’t normal discharge? I just had my membranes swept yesterday around 4, and just now I started what I think is bloody show......I went to the bathroom and when I wiped, I had a ton of slimy stuff come out with blood, more than one wipe too. No large clumps yet though. I didn’t spot after yesterday’s appt at all and this was way more than spotting blood. Do you think this could be part of losing my mucus plug?
