Is it true that Plan B isnt effective if you’re overweight?

I had sex with my husband and the condom broke. I took plan b the same day. I read online that plan b isn’t effective if you’re over 165lbs or have a BMI of over 30. I’m wondering how accurate that is? We already have 3 kids and are currently avoiding pregnancy

it’s less effective but i’m not sure if there is a weight limit to make it completely ineffective. go to a walgreens and ask the pharmacist they have working.

You need to check the insert. 
Birth control pills aren’t recommended if over a certain BMI because the studies didn’t cover it. It’s a liability thing. 
Plan B’s insert doesn’t mention anything as far as I remember on the topic, so it should work fine regardless of BMI.
