Here’s the run down:

Went to the hospital a few nights ago because I had started bleeding bright red (really minimal amount) and was cramping on and off all day. My levels were tested and came back at 30000. We thought that I was around 6w2d but there may be a chance that I had ovulated a little later than expected. However, the doctor said that he thinks I’m more than likely experiencing a miscarriage but that he still wants me in tomorrow morning for a quantitative blood draw.

Since that night, my symptoms have only increased. My boobs are extremely tender and the smallest things make my stomach turn, the nausea has been insanely intense and does not go away, and I’m ridiculously fatigued. I took a 3 hour nap earlier after having slept for 10 hours last night. 😳 What I’m curious to know about is this:

Have any of you ever been through a miscarriage and had symptoms still stick around and be really prominent? And for those who have been in the same place as me right now (not knowing 100% what’s going on), did things turn around for you & you ended up birthing a healthy baby?

Edit: Strangely enough, right after posting this I threw up too. Sorry if it’s a lot to read. I’m just not familiar with what to expect if it is indeed a loss.
