Progesterone shots?!

Got the call from my doctor today that we would be starting progesterone shots and I am terrified🙈 with my first I had her 5 weeks early which is why they decided to do it this time.. I'm 18 weeks and 2 days and will get them until I'm 36 weeks.. is there anybody else that is also getting them?! I am terrified of needles and looking for a little reassurance.

I had them last time and will do them again. It’s a shot in the upper butt so you don’t even see the needle

had them with two pregnancies, one shot a wk really isn't bad and it will give your baby a better chance at staying put

After the first week you’ll be fine. I had to do blood thinners every day to keep this one after three mc. 
The pain is tolerable - it’s just the idea of injecting that I struggled with. I held my breath the whole time and did it lying down in bed when I woke up. After the first week it’s fine. You’ll do what you have to to get this bub here!!
