Evey or Evie

My late grandmothers name was Evey pronounced like Evie (Ee-vee). My fathers side are Norwegian and that’s the traditional spelling. I would love to name my daughter after her but don’t want my child to have to correct everyone her whole life. My father likes the traditional spelling if I am naming her after my grandmother. My question is.. would it be wrong to change the spelling but still dedicate her name to my grandmother or should I stick to the original spelling?

Edit: my middle name is marie so Evey Marie or Evie Marie 🤔🤯
