Do you think I am making a good choice?

I'm 20 years old, and have been working at a theme park for almost two years. In that time, I have been trained for some higher paying positions, however, have not received any of those types of shifts, and therefore have been stuck making minimum wage. A local popular restaurant is hiring servers, and I know that I can likely make a little bit more money and have A TON more flexibility. I have an amazing full time job lined up for my taking in the winter when I finish school, so this job change would be temporary. I'm nervous because I feel that I am stepping out of my comfort zone completely and I am doubting myself. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Am I freaking out over nothing?
