I have a stupid question

When I google this I just get the laws on how you’re supposed to pull over or move the fuck out of the way when an ambulance has its lights and sirens on.

However my question is, let’s say there’s an ambulance just driving behind you that’s not already going anywhere and doesn’t have their lights on and you get into an accident in front of them.

Will they stop for you? Are they obligated to as long as they’re not on a call?

It nearly happened to me today, and I was extremely grateful- even though nothing happened- that an ambulance was just driving behind me and I was just wondering
