Help!!!

So I went to the Er because I started spotting, freaked me out because I lost my last baby early on. They did a ultrasound and I already know about have fibroids, but they said the baby was fine that i have a small tear in the placenta she called it a Subchorionic hemorrhage that it would most likely go away and the baby was fine....that’s all, on my way out she handed me a paper saying to give it to my doctor because my cervix is 2.8 2.9 cm , what does that mean? Is it bad? I’m 13w4d
