Can friends still f*ck?

This guy and I had a thing and did sexual stuff, held hands and stuff then he said he just wants to be friends and continue the sexual stuff. Which I’m ok with, he asked me out already and I said no atm and then he pretty much took it back ever since but idk if friends still have sex and shit. Are we friends with benefits or something? He gets strong anxiety so I think that’s playing a part in the relationship so we continue to be friends until later spoken about. We are 18 and 19 🤙
