Do you think BDSM is for 18+ but ok for minors to explore and learn?
My reply: Yes, I do think BDSM/ kink is 18+ but totally fine for minors to explore and learn as long as they are getting their information from reliable and educational resources and do not try to partake in anything until they are a legal age. Your opinions?

im 15 and have been sexually active since i was 13 (ive never been sexually active or had sex without protection) (i was with a boyfriend for 8 months and stayed with him for another 5 after. please don’t be judgemental for this i was happy and still am with my decision) anyway, we dabbled a bit here and there (nothing wild just tying a little spanking and tying up my hands with belts) and i enjoyed it. i then had a DDLG (daddy dom little girl) (again please dont be judgemental) relationship with someone else. it was very on and off but again i was happy. we also did the spanking and tying up) but not much else except the sex was more agressive (in a good way). we broke up and i dated someone else in a “normal” relationship. we were sexually active together as well. i have had 5 total partners and am very happy with my decisions. while i dont encourage 13 year olds being sexually active (i dont regret my decisions but the age itself i do regret). i think older teens should explore their sexuality if thats what they prefer to do. i currently am and im really happy and thats what truely matters as long as they are being safe.

I have said this so much so many times.  IT IS SO FUCKING IMPORTANT FOR PEOPLE TO EDUCATE THEMSELVES ON BDSM BEFORE ACTUALLY TRYING IT. And just saying oh gross minors shouldn't be here doesn't help. I don't personally believe they should be deeply particiapting in the actual acts until they are 18. But I think they have every right to learn the rules and put them into action as best as they can. BDSM teaches great values that do not only apply to sexual circumstances. The trust and communication it takes to do this stuff is so fucking key. Understanding what you're actually doing ia key. This way people don't get hurt for being misinformed. People don't have to be traumatized because someone helped them learn. Like jesus... do you know how many people have tried "BDSM" that was rather torture than actual BDSM? It is not all whips chains and boners!! This is why it has a bad reputation because no one educates anyone properly! They just say you're too young and to do something more their age. Welp that was no help. Just let's all agree to properly educate people on BDSM... so that we can hopefully help avoid traumatizing experiences

i don't think age should be a restriction on sexuality. It will develop on its own through puberty and based on life experiences.

okay, I'm 19. I don't really think people should get into a BDSM relationship until the understand what they like and dislike. That's why I do so much research about stuff like this. If you dive headfirst into it you may never really find out if you do it because you like it you because you think you're supposed to like it. Do research, understand, experiment a little, but please do it legally.

I have a few opinions on this issue.  First of all I think a sexually active young person has a natural urge to be curious and explore.  I also think this should be done safely and with guidance.  Not necessarily parental guidance I mean but the knowledgeable guidance of someone who can, no pun intended, show you the ropes if you are trying BDSM.  This is only fair and safe for you and your partner as there is a lot of false information out there and you have a right to know the truth however certain websites are pretty graphic and are restricted to adults for good reason.   So in closing, do I think a minor should have access to BDSM info yes I do.  Do I think they should have access to all of it not necessarily as some of it is age restricted for legal reasons and content.  Some things don’t need to be rushed into.
