CHILD SUPPORT NIGHTMARE(HELP)

Ladies so I am going thru it right now. I desperately need some words of advice.

My son’s father and father of my unborn baby are separated, we have been for two years however a few months ago we slipped and had sex and boom I’m pregnant again. He is a wonderful father to my son. We do not live together but he pays for child care ranging from $80-$100 a week and also pays for my light-/gas bill because I can’t afford all the bills. I am a babysitter and I get payed weekly $350, $1400 a month my rent is $1075. I have to buy food and a monthly metrocard. I’m left with like roughly $200 a month(THANK god for my son’s father for helping) Now here the issue, I went to apply for public Assistance and they are demanding that I put my kids father on child support!!! I don’t want to do that to him 😩 he already tries his best to help my son and help me out. I need more help which is why I’m going they route. But I feel awful about doing that to him. I told him about it and he was like common man, I’m trying to do the best I can. That just broke my heart, but I need more help😩 what should i do ladies? How would you handle this situation ?
