35 weeks, heart problems and still working
Hey ladies,
So I’m currently 35 weeks and was diagnosed with inappropriate sinus tachycardia about a month ago (heart rate gets up to 170, never lower than 120 and beta blockers haven’t helped at all). Annnd, I’m still working, and am planning to continue until I hit 39 weeks (assuming the baby doesn’t plan on coming before then). Waiting that long to take maternity isn’t by choice (quite frankly, money is a big issue).
Lately, I’ve been totally and completely exhausted and this Texas heat is definitely not helping (it’s 98 degrees outside and ridiculously humid). I’m blessed enough to have a desk job so nothing physically demanding but working has seriously taken a toll on me and I’m sure that my heart working so hard 24/7 isn’t helping.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get through the next 4 weeks? Anything at all would be greatly appreciated because I’m seriously struggling.
