Baby Products Worth Your $$$$?!

I am 9+2 but we are starting to pick up some of the gear for our little Peanut Butter. With my first one, I didn’t have any money to buy the things I would’ve wanted, so this time I definitely would like to splurge on some nice things this time around. I know babies don’t need much, but anything to make my life easier and baby’s life more comfortable is worth the bucks to me! 
So. The Dockatot. Is it really worth $185???? Reviews on the dock vs the Snuggle Me? I’m more inclined to buy the snuggle me but I really don’t know what is going to work the best or if I even need something along these lines. We won’t be cosleeping at night but I would like to have it for daytime naps, especially in the beginning when mama isn’t getting out of bed for jack. I also think it would be nice to have one for when dad wants to nap with baby, since he’s a giant & a heavy sleeper! 
Also. The momaroo? Perks on this vs a bouncer/swing? I dont know if I can justify the price unless I can replace both a bouncer and a swing with it. And I see myself still wanting a bouncer at least. 
We are already die-hard fans of the rock & play so that’s on my list! 
Also, reviews on comotomo bottles? I’d like to EBF so anything that makes that transition easier would be great. My first did great with Tommee Tippee and Nuby Natural Touch. Wondering if the Comotomo or the Joovy Boob are worth the extra cash???

So if you have the $$$.... halo bassinet. I wish I got one bc I ended up having a csection.
A wonderful stroller. Strollers are used for so long that the investment is well worth it. I found the basic brands to be less then nice once they are used. All strollers are nice before they are used. I prefer the baby jogger city mini gt, and if I had two I would want the city select and hands down the bob jogger is amazing for jogging and running.
A nice chair for breast feeding or just snuggling. I got one on amazon for only 175$ and after 9 months my back started hurting every time I used it. I wish I got one nicer so I can use it with baby two and now I will
Be spending extra to get a whole new one someday.

Comotomo bottles are the best!! The only other "have to" according to our boy is a bouncer. He uses the swing, but not much. We also use the light up Disney Mr. Ray play mat/gym and he loves it. We have a pack-n-play in our room & a crib in his room. The pack-n-play is pretty awesome as we used the attached bassinet for the first 9 weeks & the mattress can be set higher for when he grew out of the bassinet part. He's only 3 1/2 mos, so we still use that every night. I wish I would have waited on a crib. He has napped in it once. Changing tables are also a waste of money. We have both the Dock-a-rock and Snuggle me organic (I found brand new still in package at a Once Apon A Child for $20!). I love them both for different reasons. 
I love the Snuggle me because it's the perfect baby lounger and firs just about anywhere. I use it on the couch when I'm folding laundry, in his Graco dream glider for naps, his moses basket.

His dock-a-tock I leave in our arms reach cosleeper, he sleeps in it at night for good 4hour stretches. The rest of the night he's in bed with us.

One of my favorite splurge items though is our changing pad. I went with the Hatch Baby Grow Changing pad and Scale. It connects to your phone via bluetooth and you are able to weigh your baby, record their weight, track their feeds, track their diaper output and you can add caregivers. The scale aspect is so accurate, it's always matched up with with the drs scale for pedi visits. The best part also, it's wipeable!

Another splurge item was for me. The diaper bag. I have three kids- 6, 2.5 and 8weeks. I really wanted a diaper bag that didn't scream diaper bag, but something I could use for my personal use as well that made me feel more like a human (lol). I ended up finding out about Lily Jade and while at first I was hesitant dropping so much money on a bag, my fiance surprised me with a Lily Jade Meggan for Christmas, I fell in love and bought 3 more (one of their bst and the other two on sale). They are GORGEOUS bags. Incredibly durable and truly built to last, full grain leather (or canvas is an option!), convertible - so can be worn back pack style, messenger style or over the shoulder like a purse. Each bag also comes with a removable 12 pocket baby bag insert to help keep your bag nice and organized or you can remove it and use the bag for whatever else you want. It also comes in handy when you leave baby with a sitter but don't want to leave your expensive bag with them, you can just take out the insert and hand them that! I highly recommend them to everyone!

If you plan on babywearing, definitely invest in a comfortable baby carrier. My personal favorite is Lillebaby, particularly their embossed collection, sooo silky soft and smooth. I also love our Wild Bird ring slings for quick trips. We do have Tulas (including a ftg) but I personally just don't find them as comfortable. I suggest looking for a local babywearing group (you can easily find one on fb if you have one) to try out different carriers to see which one works best for you.

I wouldn’t buy a docatot or anything else without mesh sides if you’re planning to nap with your baby. There’s something on Amazon called a “Swaddleme by your side sleeper” that seems much safer without any suffocation risk. 
The Halo bassinet is splurge that was totally worth it for us. I love the option to buy an organic mattress and sheets for it, which is something not all bassinets have. 
Buy a nicer stroller and car seat. Brands like Nuna, Uppababy, Britax, Babyjogger, etc are slightly more expensive for a very good reason. They not only last longer and do better on rough terrain, but they use safer fabrics with either no flame retardants, or extremely safe ones that pass much higher standards than most other popular brands, like Chicco. 
Also, splurge on a nice baby carrier, like a Lillebaby or Ergo 360. They allow you to wear your baby facing out, they use no toxic chemicals, and they’re waaaay more comfortable than the cheaper brands.
For bottles I am obsessed with Pura Kiki, but I use wide neck Avent nipples with them because the Pura Kiki nipples suck. The bottles themselves are expensive, but they last through every stage of your child’s life because you can switch the nipples for a sippy top, straw, or sports cap. They’re the only bottle with zero plastic parts (Comotomo uses a plastic nipple ring, along with all of the glass bottles out there), and they’re super easy to clean.
