Is my doctor right?

Question

Last September I had an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in losing my left tube. My right tube is slightly damaged which cause me to have another ectopic  (diagnosed yesterday). My doctor said that if I have 1 more ectopic then my tube has to be removed. Is that correct?? Why would they remove a tube of they can save it? I don't have $20k for ivf... Help!!!

I’m sure they will try to save it if they can but it might be past the point of being able to be saved if you have another ectopic.

sometimes they can try and clear damage to tubes but I guess depends. can you not have the exploratory surgery done to see what's there first and then decide?

some times its just passed the point of saving and it can be harm to you if they try
