I’m 35 weeks pregnant with baby number two. I was monitored for 5 and a half hours yesterday. I have regular contractions every 2-5 minutes showing up on the monitor to the point where my stomach gets completely hard and hurts. They weren’t sure if I was in labour at first so they came back every couple hours to put me on the monitor, felt my stomach, watched the contractions show up, but when they checked me my cervix was high and closed. I than got a FFN test done to predict my likely hood of preterm labour in the next two weeks and it came back negative. So unlikely at all to happen for the next two weeks. Which is good because I didn’t want to go early. But they diagnosed me with a irritable uterus. Did anyone else get diagnosed with this, have this many contractions and pains, and a negative FFN test but go early anyways? I really feel alone on this.
