I always heard it was purple/blue for girl and pink/red for boy, so the opposite of what you would naturally assume since blue is often associated with boy and pink with girls. 
I don’t believe it is accurate at all though so either way it’s just for fun.

Thanks I’ve had a look on most YouTube videos and a lot of people are saying purple for a girl and pink/red for a boy. I think that’s the general consensus. Certainly it was purple for my girl. So confusing!
