Small backstory: I grew up with my grandma living in with our family and some of my best memories are watching I Love Lucy before school with her when I was little and old movies during the summer. End backstory.

So my fiancé when out of state for work for two weeks, and while he was away he and some coworkers went to the local mall. He told me he bought me new leggings since I had mentioned before that mine were ripping in the thighs (old material and thick thighs🙄) which was sweet, and then he said he had a surprise for me. I picked him up last night and when we got home, he opened his suitcase and told me to close my eyes, so I did and he placed something heavy in my hands. This man bought me the complete series of I Love Lucy on DVD, and said I remembered you told me you wanted to get it one day because it means a lot to you, so I got it for you, consider it my late anniversary present. I just about cried my eyes out, he’s the sweetest guy on the planet. I can’t wait to marry him and make him as happy as he makes me.
