Visitors?

So there are a few people that I don’t want visiting me and baby once she’s here, but I know for a fact that they will show up & they’re really good friends with my baby’s dad. So would I be rude if I just asked them to leave?

No, it's not rude. No one even  has to know that you are in the hospital. If there are visitors that you want, tell only them about being in labor.

Nope!!  Not rude at all. My mother is toxic, and she won’t even know when her grand daughter is born. We have to do what’s best for our babies.

Invite them on your terms, I.e. Let them know in advance that they are welcome but only for an hour, and when the hours up kick them out.

I guess it’s something you should discuss with your partner - it’s his baby too and they’re his friends. I guess an hour wouldn’t hurt too much? Then say you’re tired and would be grateful if they’d leave?
