Bike riding at 12 weeks? Advice?

My husbands family wants to go on a bike ride when I’m 12 weeks (in about a month). I’ve never been pregnant before. It will be for a few hours but very leisurely. Would you recommend going or declining? We haven’t told them yet, and they want us to commit to booking it today.

Exercise is good for you so you should go. Just be careful like usual with cars, holes, etc.

It’s mostly in the 3rd trimester you shouldn’t ride a bike because your belly throws off your center of gravity and there’s a risk of falling. 
At 12 weeks it should be fine as long as you are physically fit enough to do so, as in have the stamina without pushing yourself. You will want to make sure you don’t get overheated and stay well hydrated so it may also depend on the weather. 
Is it the type of thing where if you go and part way you feel like you’re pushing it you won’t be able to stop without everyone stopping? Because then I probably wouldn’t go. But maybe you can just say yes for now and when the time comes your husband goes without you. Either by then you tell them the real reason, or you just stay home and say you are sick.

My doctor said it’s fine up until later in pregnancy when it starts getting uncomfortable, because you’re more likely to fall. Just make sure you’re still able to talk while riding so you aren’t over exerting yourself.
