Will urgent care do lab tests for progesterone?

I just got a positive pregnancy test at 8dpo, and I am so nervous. I was pregnant in November but it ended in miscarriage and I know it was because my progesterone was low. With it being a Saturday and a holiday weekend, I won't be able to call my Dr until Tuesday, and I won't be able to go there until at least June 6th, and I really am not comfortable waiting that long. I know urgent care will do blood pregnancy tests, but will they check progesterone also??

personally I'd call and ask if they can do that. I've heard most doctors are reluctant to check progesterone levels unless you've had 3 MCs. my doc went back and forth with himself before having my levels tested but I lost my son at 26 weeks with zero reason as to why and that's the only reason he had them checked. I didn't even start the supplements until 10 weeks. hopefully you can get yours checked a little easier

I work in an urgent care and we don’t do blood pregnancy tests or progesterone levels. The most we can do is a UPT which is the same one you can buy. I would call your OB on Tuesday and see if they would be willing to call you in progesterone supplements until you can be seen.
