TTC day before ovulation

Hello ladies ,

So I’m currently ttc with my husband , & I ovulate tomorrow ; May 27 2018 and we just had intercourse May 26 2018 , to prepare for it. I want to know is this a good thing to do and would doing this maximize my chance of a BFP?
