ADVICE FOR NEXPLANON ?!

What kind of birth control do you all use ? And how do you like it ? I’m currently using nexplanon which I have loved so far. But lately it’s been messing u p my hormones a lot. I get my period for like 14 days straight and then it’ll stop for two days and then start again. Its very annoying to have my period for almost the entire month. Anyone have any suggestions or advice ?

I hated it, only lasted a year, but wish I would never gotten it. never felt comfortable in my arm, terrible mood all the time, had 2 full months of bleeding. no sex drive so I joke it was 100% effective at least. glad I don't have it anymore.

Hey! I have been on The implant for seven years so implant number three. This Issue is one of the biggest side effects that the implant has. But to help out for me I take ibuprofen 800 mg three times a day during.  It usually shortens it or just last for its regular time. When you’re on the implant the uterine lining is thicker andIt also has a lot of swelling that’s what you’re getting the longer periods were more than one in a month. If you can’t take ibuprofen try to take another anti-inflammatory, on the dosage you would have to ask your doctor. If it continues then most times doctors put you on a pill form of birth control to help rebalance the hormones and get you back on track. I haven’t had to go that far.
