light pelvic cramps on and off

Hi ladies, today is exactly week 4 and I found out 3 days ago that I am pregnant. its my first time and since we have been trying for a while and I am 36, I am so worried about miscarriage..

I have been getting light pelvic cramps that comes and goes the past days. (unlike period pain) It doesn't hurt but is just annoying. Any of you have this symptom? whenever I get these cramps, I get all paranoid that I may miscarry..

Mom tells me to just stay in bed all day and do nothing, which sounds but is just not feasible.
