breastmilk heating?

should I heat the breastmilk which has been sitting in room temperature for say 4 hours??
I am going to doctors tomorrow and taking breastmilk In bottle just in case. How long will it remain unspoiled? Should I heat it. Or can it be given directly to my baby even after 4 hours??

Technically breastmilk cabs go unspoiled for up to 6 hours at room temp. Don’t heat it. If you throw it in a small cooler bag you don’t have to worry at all as it can go unsoiled up to 24hrs in a cooler that’s actually kept cold.

We give it room temperature but he actually prefers it cold from the fridge. What ever your baby likes 🤷🏼‍♀️

Fine to give it as is if baby doesn’t mind room temp milk. Could heat it if baby prefers it that way. Could also transfer it to the fridge for up to 6 days or the freezer for longer (deep freezer for months). Doctor also surely won’t mind you feeding baby “from the tap” if you’re comfortable with that (certainly more convenient).
