This is the debate in my friend group for or camping trip next weekend:

For a 2hr car ride, there is a smoker and a non-smoker. Who should be more courteous; the smoker or the non-smoker?

Should the non-smoker suck it up and let themselves be exposed to secondhand smoke OR should the smoker suck it up in respect to the non-smoker by not smoking in the vehicle (regardless if the windows are down) and instead pull the car over when they need a smoke break?

Personally, I feel like the smoker should suck it up and show some respect to those that don’t want to be exposed to secondhand smoke.
