Pee burns????

Question

I had protected sex with my boyfriend on friday (last day of my period) and saturday and today (sunday) my pee kinda burns.. and sometimes I feel like I need to pee really bad but when I use the bathroom it isnt alot. Whats happening
UPDATE: thanks so much i shouldve known it was a uti the girls in my family get them alot i think my issue was i didnt pee after we had sex or i wiped the wrong way my mom luckily has antibiotics for it cause i dont have insurance to go to the doctor right now if you guys have any remedies to help cure it quicker let me know

Sounds like a UTI, I've had loads in the past and they hurt like a bitch 😳 Antibiotics will treat it but in the mean time drink cranberry juice or take cranberry capsules! And to prevent them in the future make sure to always pee after sex!

It’s a UTI, go to your dr and they can give you antibiotics. It can happen from unprotected sex where bacteria gets into the urethra and causes an infection or it can be from just general bacteria. Make sure you wee after having sex every time and try drinking cranberry juice regularly to lessen the chance of it happening again
