Would you let your boyfriend have a GIRL best friend?

Mine has one. She was in his life before I was so I can’t say anything. I even saw a text in his phone to her before we dated calling her baby. She doesnt like him though. Lol she ignored his text on purpose. 
I feel like my boyfriend falls in love with anyone who gives him attention(which isn’t a lot of girls). & I could have been anyone if they texted him or called him back... 
When I confront him about this stuff he says “but it didn’t happen” when it COULD have. I feel like it’s just as bad.

We don’t do personal friends of the opposite sex. Meaning if I have a guy from work who wants to hang out, my fiance is coming. I don’t have a reason to exclude him. And tbh I have two GIRL friends as it is because my fiancé is my best friend and covers all of the bases I need covered. If I need a friend I go chill with my girlfriends and he goes and chills with his guy friends. But nope. It wouldn’t fly with me personally. But it’s on a case by case basis. That being said, neither of us really had friends of the opposite sex when we started dating and the ones we did have tried to undermine our relationship and so we kicked them to the curb and never looked back.

I personally feel that if my boyfriend and I want a true relationship and respect each other enough and love each other enough then no, he would not have a girl best friend and no, I would not have a guy best friend (which we don’t). I feel this way because in order to make a relationship work you only need two people. Anymore than that comes with issues. We can have friends which we have friends together, and I confide in the girls and he confides in the guys. We’ve been together for 2 years now and literally the only thing we fight about once in a while is our families always wanting to see us. But if your comfortable enough that your boyfriend confides in another girl, that’s all you, and no one can tell you your wrong. So neither of us are wrong, it’s just personal preference I believe.

It's not a question of "letting" my boyfriend do anything. He's an adult; he can do what he wants.
Yes, I would be comfortable if my boyfriend had close female friends (with maybe one exception, but I don't have to worry about that at least lol). He even still talks to a couple of his exes from time to time, and I have no problem with it. But I can definitely understand your insecurities. I personally knew a girl my ex had a huge crush on before me, and especially at the point I was in my mental health at the time it tore me up thinking she could have had him before I even had the chance to.
In the end, it comes down to trust within your relationship. Even if your guy catches feelings easily, the person he loves now is you. He's not with his best friend, or any other woman.

We both have friends of the opposite sex, but we are familiar & comfortable with those friends. The only thing we "let" happen is us letting each other know our whereabouts. We trust each other. There has only ever been one instance where it became an issue. It was this girl that he knew years before I came into the picture. Based on her behavior (plus my gut feeling), I knew damn well that she wanted to be more than just friends with him. His fam/friends said he friend-zoned her way back when and she never fully accepted it even though she claimed she was over it. I nipped that in the bud right away.
