SO left me..

My SO is an ex marine so he has been through a lot with deployment and such. Well he has an alcohol problem, which he has admitted to, but has done nothing about. It’s only gotten worse this past month so I gave him a choice. He can either stay with his family (me and his 1 year old daughter) and get help or we leave. I hate threatening him about it but I can’t help him anymore...

We got into it last night, he came home from work and at last minute decides that he is gonna go out with his co worker to drink! And said he wasn’t coming home and hasn’t been home or have I heard from him since he left last night. I’m taking this as he doesn’t care and I’m trying to get back home (I live 2 hours away) and trying to figure out how this whole thing works with custody ? Any help would be nice...thanks. Also we are not married*
