offended by the word “thick”?

so today a guy said i had a “busty” chest and he called me “thick”. For some reason, I felt really offended and violated. I felt vulnerable and I don’t know why. I’m not sure why it feels this way. To me it feels like I’ve been catcalled but it was supposed to be a compliment. Can anyone explain to me what’s going on?

I understand. Very hard to pinpoint. It could’ve been sexual implication or harmless. Sometimes, it’s hard to decipher. I ignore comments like that in entirety.

Its fine girl I totally get where you're coming from. I'm not trying to be rude or point finger here, sometimes I think it's the way people give the compliment that it isn't respectful (of course they can do it unintentionally) but it's also on us and how we choose to perceive it by as well. 
This is my honest opinion. It's not entirely true, but this is my personal opinion and experience.

The only person who has ever said I was thick was my boyfriend but I took it as a compliment it made me feel sexy idk maybe I'm weird but I do see where you're coming from
