What do you their punishment should be?

since cc has been dead lately I thought I'd post this. some people have said they should be made to pay back every penny, some have said they should be jailed, some said they should pay but while on electronic tag due to their past and others said they should be jailed then deported.

What do you think their punishment should be any why?

Pay back every dime, as well as jail time, and deported. The fact that you can pose as a survivor in order to benefit for your selfish gain, is just plain evil. I hope they get everything that’s coming to them.

I don’t really know about their punishment. But they seem to be pushing the fact they were immigrants more then their crime. Immigrant or not, they would be punished for their crimes equally. But their side agenda in this article is to clearly paint a picture that all immigrants are criminals.

They should be deported AND have to pay for it.
I have no sympathy for people living in a country illegal- ESPECIALLY if they're causing trouble. Most European countries immediately report people who are found to be there illegally. There are also countries that routinely fine these people and put them in prison. 
If you want to move do the paperwork right.

The grenfell situation hits home for me. My boyfriend’s good friend died in that fire along with his family. He lives around the corner from the tower and is reminded of it on a daily basis. 
It’s absolutley disgusting that people would lie about surviving something so tragic. They should pay back every penny, be deported AND jailed for fraud.

They can’t really pay anything if they’re jailed so just have them pay back every single penny. That amount of money to have to pay back is probably more of a punishment than sitting in jail

This is sadly an aspect of human nature; to take advantage of others. I think they should be placed in prison and work through the prison. Once they've "paid back" their dues, by an hourly basis, they should be permanently flagged and deported. If they try to enter the country again, they should face the maximum sentence for illegals.

My first instinct is made to pay back the money and deported, but if they deport them immediately I don’t see how they’ll be able to enforce repayment, internationally. Wouldn’t that be difficult? But if you allow them to stay in the country in order to repay, that doesn’t seem just either. I’m honestly not sure.
