I got my first depo shot two weeks ago on a Thursday. Then I waited one week to have unprotected sex last Thursday. My period was supposed to come today but it hasn’t and I dont know if it’s because I got the shot and it messed up my cycle or because I’m pregnant?? I waited exactly week to have unprotected sex and he did not cum in me. Is it the shot that messed

My sister uses that as birth control, she hasn't gotten a period ever since (2 years now)

It’s likely the shot. Not only does hormonal birth control stop ur real menstrual cycle, but progestin only methods like depo are most known for causing irregular bleeding/spotting patterns. That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding, random bleeding, or even frequent bleeding, at any given time. And, such irregular bleeding is especially common during the first 3-6 months while ur body is adjusting to the birth control. But, if ur still worried at all, then just take a test to be sure.
