OPK - Please help!

Hello! I had a huge spike in bbt on Tuesday morning (96.53 Monday, 98.70 Tuesday, 98.40 Wednesday, & 98.11 this morning) but my opk wasn’t positive until Tuesday morning (& Wednesday morning).

Is it true that ovulation actually occurs BEFORE the temperature spike? If so, that would put my ovulation around Sunday rather than Tuesday or Wednesday, right??

We BD’d Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday. Thanks in advance for any and all advice!
