Is a nursing chair a necessity?

Rocker, glider, or big comfy chair in the nursery for breastfeeding.

We bought one and I use it way more than I ever thought I would. I hate nursing in my bed!

I had a glider and the thing was so uncomfortable to feed in I ended up just feeding in bed but if I had a nice comfy recliner I think I would have used that instead of bringing my daughter in bed with me

I used just an armchair we had with my first. When we were out and about, I would use whatever seat I could find, or very often just sat in the back seat of my car and nursed. With this baby, we did buy a recliner/glider for the baby room so that we could keep the other chair in our oldest’s room since we still use it in her night time routine to read and sing.

No it isn’t. I always breastfeed in my bed or sitting on the couch. I have one and don’t use it. I didn’t use it for my oldest either.

I don't think is necessary, I've been breastfeeding for a year and never bought one of those lol.
