Embarrassed, help a girl out 🙋

I use to just buy food all the time but now that I live with my bf, I want to start cooking. I'm so embarrassed to say that I'm still learning even though I'm an adult already. I've scoured the internet, but I want to know what recipes you guys swear by and love making. Please do share, I would appreciate it so much! You can share a couple recipes at once or share a link for convenience.
