Buying baby clothes before pregnant

Is it terrible that I’ve purchased some baby clothes even though I’m not pregnant?

We’ve been trying for over 5 years and today I found a pile of baby onesies in the closet that I bought months ago. I pulled them out and started crying 😢

It hurts to look at them and worry I’ll never get to use them. But at the same time, they give me an oz of hope also. Anyone else do this?
