Is he the problem?

So my SO and I have been TTC for 7 months now and no luck. He drinks beer every day after work, usually about 4ish beers each day. Doesn’t drink water but OCCASIONALLY will drink Gatorade while he’s at work. He also has been smoking pot more often which he started back up last year. 
Is it possible that his “life style” choices are hindering our chances of conceiving?

My husband been drinking and smoking weed everyday since he was 16 , he's 42 now and he has a 23 year old son, and we have a 1 year old and Baby #2 due January.

Pot doesn’t hurt sperm count. Drinking does.

I have heard that smoking pot can lower the chance of getting pregnant, not sure why though. And not sure on the alcohol. My fiancé had smoked pot for at least 5-6 years and we got pregnant but miscarried our first, had a healthy daughter and now pregnant again.
