hymen

I had sex for the time and my hymen didn’t “pop”.I felt a lot of pressure when he was going in and a slight discomfort. Is this normal? I wasn’t tense and I was wet enough. It was somewhat enjoyable I’m unsure if this is a normal experience.

Thank you for all your help I appreciate it. Quick update: I did edge of the bed missionary with him and i have a soreness in my upper inner thigh area like right next to my mons pubis. Is this also normal?
