Am I reading this right?

I’ve been texting this guys for about a week; he’s British and fine af but he’s 24. Initially he thought I was his age but nope I’m 18. He’s a little bit unsure about our age difference... it doesn’t bother me (I’m mature for my age-people around my age think I’m older than I am too) and he keeps forgetting how much younger I am. We flirt and stuff and he’s super cool. I’m good with being just friends with him but is there a way to ease his conscience about the age gap?
